Trump is flushing out the leakers. Comey has yet to actually say anything. He's playing the canary trap and has been for quite some time. He knows what he is doing. Don't worry.

There's something very odd about how Trump did not sack Comey. I think Trump has a plan to snare Comey in a trap, so his fall will be his own fault.

He said no charges twice against Hillary, the second time right before the election. What are you going on about? He protected her.

Trump is an amatuer and might even be in on it. I knew Comey was a criminal and Trump didn't? I was aware that Comey leveraged no charges against Hillary and said nothing to see here, but Trump didn't think that mattered? Is this all to make it look like Trump is trying to help us but his hands are tied? Looks like it is to me, because there was no reason I can think of for him to keep Comey. They are giving us every excuse why Trump wants to help us but gosh darn it, he can't. I don't buy any of this. Nothing will be done and Trump is likely part of the team and this is all a show. He would have never brought back Comey otherwise. This is really stupid.

I'd like to point out that the NYT didn't hear this from Comey himself, they heard it from "senior American officials." I can't help but think about what Trey Gowdy said about believing things from NYT and WP. What if this was some sort of trap set for NYT and others of their ilk?

Thus far, all reports circling the net (as far as I know) on Comey and his involvement with this situation are based on an anonymously sourced New York Times article. We all know how credible those are.

I will not judge Comey until he's actually done something worthy of being judged about. Anonymously sourced hearsay means nothing to me, even if it's in a major newspaper.

You have to give the man a chance, he's been in office for 6 weeks. Upvoat...agree with your assessment of Comey. Who knows, he may be clean but just tried to play both sides during the election-doubtful though. Somebody just posted an article where Gowdy and Comey conversed about not trusting, 'sources at the Times', literally. I think it was from last summer.

I don't know what to think about Comey. I've seen so much evidence in both directions.

But I think it's interesting that Clinton badmouthed Comey after the election.

There is a point in any failed conspiracy where members of the conspiracy try to detach and join the other side. I think Comey was corrupted with Marc Rich and BCCI, and when he saw Hillary's server he realized that there was no way to bury it. But honestly I don't know what will happen.

I'm fairly certain this is going to make the DOJ have to confirm the wiretapping while saving FBI face AND implicating Obama solely if the evidence comes out that there were wiretaps and the FBI wasn't the ones who pursued them. Comey is on our side I think, but they have to play both sides until they weed out the Obama sympathizers.

Reddit is saying this as well. Maybe Trump is trying to force Comey to publicly come to his side. When Podesta first started the Russia narrative in November...he was saying something is seriously wrong with the FBI. Hasn't been saying it as much anymore. I wonder if the pedos have dirt in the FBI and if so, what kind of dirt the Pedos have on Comey or the FBI?

Chuck Schumer seems to be sweating bullets. Donald Trump doesn't appear to be sweaty at all. Trump can claim anything he wants to claim. The American People are with him.

Trump is a Chess Master when it comes to playing the game of strategy. He has many people on his side. Comey may or may not be one of them. Trump will know and if he is a bad guy then Trump with play the pawns at the correct moment. We are at war with very powerful people, but we out number them. The war right now is involving getting the right people in place and outing the ones who are bad. This will not be easy.
