Its a pretty big deal if this is true, but i have been sucked into believing false stories before so now im super skeptical, either way i cant confirm if true or false and there isnt any reason to discuss anything if it is false so i will just assume it is true for discussion purposes.

Depends, if you have one of the smart TVs that have cameras or voice recognition then id ask for a refund and demand my money back from the company and make sure they know i wouldnt stand for this orwelian BS, if its an older smart TV that doesnt have those invasive features then i wouldnt care so much. There really isnt much good on TVs these days anyway that you cant get online, maybe disconnect it from the internet (if its connected) and just play movies off your PC, there is software available to stream from your computer straight to your tv which is useful (popcorn time, just make sure you get the real version, avoid the fake versions).

I HIGHLY doubt that cia would target you just for looking into this, i think there is a stage of panic alot of people go through when they 'wake' up simply due to the insane collective ignorance of society where these evident truths are not in the mainstream consciousness.
