I was thinking of the whole timing of pedogate. If you wanted to stop them from hurting kids you would need to ensure that it is not hidden like the franklin thing. So you need a mechanism to bypass the dirty cops judges and politicians. If I was trying to stop them I think I would just release the proof. But what if the proof is CP? You can't release that. They seem to have a number of goals:

There were 2 separate, relatively unknown Twitter accounts and True Pundit. Since then, it has been mentioned by Alex Jones and others...what I wonder is if Alex's sources confirmed this, or if he was going off the reports of the initial three?

FBI Anon is also interesting, because he was the first to speak out about PG and his 4chan series began in July, which was several months prior to Weiner's laptop being seized. Wikileaks has said this a million times. They publish as soon as the data is ready to be published. You can't just publish extracted raw data in a way that the general public can reasonably see it. It needs to be interfaced. With these CIA leaks, they HAVE to do redactions to keep agents from being assassinated. They HAVE to keep weaponized code from being published. Publishing extracted data in a responsible way (especially CIA data) does not happen overnight. Each new release is a logistical puzzle.

I think this is plausible but unlikely. They wouldn't gamble with something like pizzagate that has such potential to collapse their system and topple their dominion. They know that there are many highly intelligent and motivated people in the public (inc ex intel analysts etc) who are tirelessly looking for ways to undermine and sabotage their endeavours. By purposely releasing emails with codified language therein but with the hope that no one would notice seems too farfetched. The watch dogs and checks and balances that are in place now are so corrupt and so whatever solution we find, we need everything to be out in open with 100% transparency. I have been thinking this exact thing for a while now - in that the pizzagate stuff was never meant to be picked up upon. disagree with this assumption, you are thinking emotionally, releasing everything at once wouldnt necessarily increase the chance of winning this fight. if you really want to save the most children you have to think logically and resist the urge to satisfy your egos need for virtue signalling, you have to be willing to sacrifice some to save more when the morally pure position will cause countless more children to suffer.

This is correct. I'm reminded of Schindler's list. Schindler wanted to save the most lives, and in the course of executing his strategy, he often had to stand by while evil acts were committed and even give moral support to the wrongdoers. Ultimately he was successful and saved far more people than he would have if he had come out immediately with everything he had.

I'm not saying I know what Wikileaks's reasons are for handling things they way they are -- it's possible that they are greedy or foolish -- but teethkicker is right. Wikileaks's behavior can be reconciled with a Schindleresque plan to do the most good in the long term.
