How to view pedophile tweets without seeing images ( pizzagate )

Two days ago, voat user brandnewguy posted about how pedophiles are using twitter to share child porn. https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1705231 He suggested that if you used certain hashtags, you would be confronted with graphic images. I, like many people, don't want to view child pornography. So, I thought up a way to view the tweets and archive them without the pictures. I used https://www.w3.org/services/html2txt to convert twitter search pages into plain text. Since Twitter searches have a pattern in their URL, I typed that into w3.org and not into my web browser. I never had to visit the actual pages, thus keeping me safe from viewing child porn. This service has some options about what to include. The only option I checked was "include an extra list of references at the end" as I thought it was better to include more data than less. Here are the links, feel free to use this tool yourself.

If your not the most tech savvy, here are the instruction on how I did it.

1) I searched for a innocent term on twitter, eg #summer

2) I copied that URL ( https://twitter.com/search?q=%23summer&src=typd) ) and pasted it in https://www.w3.org/services/html2txt

3) I selected the "include an extra list of references at the end" and hit the "convert from HTML to Text" button.

4) I then got the new URL: https://www.w3.org/services/html2txt?url=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fsearch%3Fq%3D%2523summer%26src%3Dtypd&endrefs=on

5) I replaced "summer" with the word "pedo" and hit enter

Note: if you want to search without the hashtag, remove the "23" from before the search term.

Edit: You have to scroll down a way to see the tweets. They start after the words "search results".

I found a rabbit hole a while ago by searching panda on all social media. A lot of it is from countries like Egypt where grown men comment things on pics of toddler's like, how they are beautiful and they want to marry them. Their friends lists can keep you in that rabbit hole forever .

It is the same as the "from" search but with the word "to". Essentially you can run any type of search that you can run in the "advanced search" section of twitter. However, I have found that sometimes the location search doesn't work on w3. Always test out searches with twitter searches that you know will be safe, then just modify the url for your w3 search.

Find and replace words/usernames. I used kanyewest as an example

Input into w3:

I would ADVISE against this, having an archive to ACTUAL CP could be incriminating, and who the hell wants to see that? I understand the need to go after em' and this may become necessary if we don't see reporters blurring and distributing it first. but we gotta like get a license or talk to the police and form a task force b/c this is very shaky territory to go at alone..I'm not saying DON'T but it's risky to say the least to be going where the pedophiles go

I agree with this. Especially the technical approach and expertise seems to lack a common sensical element of safety.

Yes, they are safe to click. I apologize if I didn't make that clear. I added the WARNING as a disclaimer because if you copied some of the web url's listed in the plain text into your browser, you might see disturbing images. The archives on both w3.org and archive.is are just plain text. No Pictures. No Videos. No Hyperlinks.
