(I've heard it's normal and Obama also did it)

This is not normal.

The president has the power to replace US Attorneys and previous presidents have done so. The part that is not normal is they usually wait until the new US Attorneys are in place to replace them. So you can have an orderly transition and transfer of knowledge. The way this being done is stupid and destructive and will result in delays in bringing cases . It does not help the cause of justice. It takes months to confirm US Attorneys.

stellarcorpse

These Obama flunkies are undermining his Presidency and attempting a coup. They need to go. Also, Trump is going to castrate deep state. Really picked on the wrong mother fucker this time.

Nana66

The thing is...this was expected and why they just had him join twitter a week ago so they could use their propaganda tool. First they make him trend with trolls pushing for him not to resign....only him, then they have the trolls pushing outrage after he was fired. Mission accomplished cuz they have the sheep thinking he was the good guy they should fight for and Trump and Sessions bad, even though Bharara was really a fraud all along that media embelished things he got done and dismiss what he never did in order to protect the masters. It's all the usual manipulation and I feel stupid for falling for it for even a second.

AreWeSure

He was a fraud how?

Nana66

They put him in charge of not finding anything on the Clinton foundation.

Orange_Circle

He dithered and covered. He had to go.

Forgetmenot

He was not actively prosecuting. He has been obstructing by his lack of action. Fire him!

Rangers_justice

You're worried about Chuck Schumers formed aide, Preet Bharara? Fuck that guy!!!

dogeminho

Chuck Schumer is really sad about it so I'm think it's good he was fired

jonnythaiwongy9

Lets say hes done good work only, I haven't seen him speak out against the people who put him where his is. Unless they are willing to give polygraphs, and everything they know on the scum, they need to be fired ASAP, cant risk having fucking rats around.

MolochHunter

he's just helping the dems string out the faux outrage

The_Roman_Numeral

Totally compromised. From the article, these names should give us insight on who's side he was really on.

As Schumer's chief counsel, Bharara helped lead the investigation of the dismissals of U.S. attorneys in 2006 during the George W. Bush administration.

Freemasonsrus

And he would also never prosecute Schumer who is up to his eyes balls in this shit. Quite sure Trump gave him a shot to do the right thing and he was dragging his feet and obstructing justice. NYPD would most certainly make sure Trump knew if Preet was doing the right thing.

The_Roman_Numeral

I imagine if he was stalling the Clinton foundation/Weiner investigation, he had to go. Perhaps, the new attorneys in place will move full speed ahead on Pedogate.

Browns1

I mean, say what you will about the George Webb videos, but Preet did nothing against the Clinton Foundation, provided anything about the Huma/ Weiner servers, the Hillary servers, and now according to the latest videos, the Awan servers. He was more concerned with his own image, that the truth. If they want him to stay, it's a good thing he's gone.

Aloha808

So what's the deal with Webb? He says some outrageous stuff. I can't decide about him

SterlingJB

Really not that unbelievable to me at least. One thing tho, dude is most definitely having an effect. Been seeing articles all over the place not directly referencing him but are offshoot stories, the tame kind that won't get you fired, of topics he covers, sometimes the day after he covers the topic. Also, his bro ran or managed or had something to do with the networks of some large hospital corp, so maybe that's, as they say, a lot lately, esp if frequenting voat, the mustard seed behind his YT video marathon. Bro's also worked with NSA, and I think Webb is being truthful about being on the FBI shit list for harassment.

Nana66

It's starting to make sense the media just propped him up to make him look like a good guy.

Fatsack

Preet is one of the people in a key position, with prosecutorial discretion, that is covering up for Clinton Foundation.

153sdsd

He was on my list, not a good one, better if he is out, rest assured we on the right way

Markb63

Lawyers don't fk around. GTFO means exactly what he says.

Jem777

He was holding the Clinton Foundation, Wiener,& other crimes. He plays politics with turkey openly supporting those of Gulen movement. Dangerous. Fired

FriesischShipping

Still staring at his picture on the wall...

unbiased_researcher

With the blue contacts!

Bulgakov

One of three things is possible 1. Preet wasn't properly investigating The Clinton Foundation, so canned 2. Preet was investigating Trump so fired 3. President Trump is protecting Clinton

Nana66

There's also the possibility it's an act and it is supposed to look like he's off the case now.

SecondAmendment

Trust Trump. Trust Sessions. Good riddance to Preet Bharara. There's nothing magical about him that another U.S. Attorney cannot replace. We just need people unaffiliated with the destructive holdovers. Any ethical prosecutor can pick the horrible corruption cases in New York right up where Preet leaves off. Now we just need to have the rest of the holdovers (i.e., the Deep State) booted from their cushy positions.

strix-varia

Got to bloody well trust someone for sure!
