It's related because a certain hotel is selling a "secret sandwich". The fact that their officers were there, off-duty, and that they promptly departed upon seeing me, of all people, behind them, suggests that they were there to purchase such a "secret sandwich" (which may have already been purchased, but they left so the barmaid said to not charge for it). What's more is that I've already got the Constabulary's attention due to ongoing matters so they'd better pay more attention in the here and now. I'll name her.

So here's the moral of the story...

Two cops in front of me in the queue grabbing lunch. One whispers to the other, "That's Jesus Christ, let's get back to the station". Then they promptly leave, presumably back to base. So then I get my drink and a barmaid mentions something about a "secret sandwich" and says, "don't bother charging" (about somebody else, not the police people).

SECRET SANDWICH? REALLY?

Time is ticking. 1am and I name the station.

(by the way, even the street address plus "police" brings it up on the first result for Google)

Nah, the barmaid was talking about an order for a "secret sandwich" and said to not charge for it... because the people who were supposed to eat it walked out as I was behind them. And they were cops. Allegation made, Constabulary needs to respond.
