found my kid watching some of these. I knew as soon as I watched for a few mins that something evil was going on with those videos. there are a good percentage of those videos that are hardcore brainwashing vids. The kids start watching a playlist that autoloads into the next random video and these strange videos start getting queued up. they are very slick.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for youtube to make it so that only genuine and verified videos end up on those lists.

Children should be safe to watch children's shows without having that to worry about also.

they have developed code to flag and remove music by automation. IIRC they have an automated program that looks for visual copyright clues as well such as the watermark that most network television stations have in the bottom right corner of the screen. it's possible, it probably wouldn't be all that expensive comparatively but, i doubt they will ever employ any code to this effect.
