It makes sense that the DC Police would be very corrupt -- as they are employed to protect, shield and facilitate the private vices of the above-the-law powerful who are assembled in DC. Newsham is of course an appalling figure, a Scarpia, who has slipped into his position with out much scrutiny by taking the position of interim first. Interims are not deeply investigated (or protested . . . he's only the interim) and the switch from interim to permanent is done without fanfare. Washington and Barnhill seem pretty low-level, not directly involved in organized trafficking at all, but may have known enough to embolden themselves, and therefore Washington was probably offed. (No word about the ankle bracelet. Why didn't it go off?). Barnhill got seven years -- . There was some sort of investigative panel regarding the DC force after this. Wonder where that went. Would be nice if a DC based journalist on top of all this would put it together for us. Or has that been done somewhere?
There is SOMETHING GOING ON IN THE DCPOLICE DEPARTMENT!! These guys are involved with these missing girls somehow I feel it in mybones. We need to investigate the police in DC.
Edit:I see this is an old story but I still feel that the police is very suspicious in these missing girls. They are at least turning a blind eye. Why?
Thanks Googs. Please make a post in pgmods, or add to KnightsHubris if he makes one. We do make rule tweaks in batches (just did one about three weeks ago IRC). We are currently as tough on spammers as we have the tools to be -- we ban them. Unfortunately, they just make alts. We ban those, too. You can check the subverse bans in the sidebar. I think I banned at least 10 alts each for PGStupid and ArmySeer last night. They were spamming with bots. FUGLY. I upvoat and downvoat both comments and threads religiously.
Ya know I knew the govt was corrupt for a long time, I just recently was redpilled inn the pedo blackmail I govt, so as a researcher I post almost all articles I find in pedos and their rings,
I would like to break huge stories but for me it's really about documenting this, so I know some of my post may be from years back but again im documenting and trying to connect the dots
i can respect that. if that is the case just post NOV 2013 or something beside title. it makes no diference to me, like i didnt realize it ws from whenever till i read comments about it and when i realized it made no difference to me bc either way its just corroborating evidence so i respect what ur doing absolutely since i feel the same, but others do care so why not just title a year even make eerybdody hapy :)
This is definitely an important role we are playing here. I don't know of any other place that is an encyclopedia of sex trafficking of kids and the failure of authorities to stop it. Just realize that one of the forum-sliding tactics shills employ is to repost old material (not implying that's what you are doing!). People are particularly angry with shills here as you know, and will consequently downvoat reposts of old material that is already here, or older articles that have headlines implying they are breaking news.
Understood. I think it is helpful because it makes people more aware. I recall when I first became aware of the Franklin Scandal, and everything after. Luckily, someone posted it or I would not have learned about it until much later.
Courtesy note to all: this story was from December 2013. I keep seeing these posts and wonder, "oh it happened again", but then I find it's just a several year old story. I'm not saying it's not still relevant; I think it is, but it would really be helpful to attach the date of the story in the title of the post.
Make a post suggesting this in

. I have been thinking for a few days now that we need to have a "Old News" flair Mods can add. To change the actual submission rules, we have to go through a process where we announce changes with a sitcky, gather comment feedback, etc. It's somewhat drawn-out.
To add that flair, you'll have to clearly define "Old News". I totally get what you are saying, and I've commented on several subs here, primarily to bring attention to the date. But, there's a LOT of important "OLD News" here, presented as supporting evidence. Maybe better to add something about this to the Sub Requirements, and rely on us
v/pizzagaters
to keep pointing this stuff out?
Yes, that is a good point. It's not a problem when it's in support of a research post. It's really the standalone posts that look like new developments but aren't that are the problem.

Didn't click but let me say that Pimping is an accepted practice with a long tradition for the black male.

At least the age of consent in DC is 16, so he's got that going for him for one girl. As for the 15 year old, he can claim that she looked 16.
Looks like he got 7 years. LOL.

And this one was arrested for production of CP while on duty.

Looks like the one involved in CP killed himself, or was offed before he could implicate others.

I'd upvoat this but I already used up my 10 votes / 24 hours.

This should be a rule. When posting an old story if you don't put the date in the title, it will be deleted.
This happens too often.

This was from 2013, not to say it isn't still happening, any police department can be corrupt, but not very current.

The DC Police Department is taking a really strong lead in being the most corrupt Police Department of 2017!
