Just out of curiosity, how do we know he didn't find out more than he was supposed to know and they planted evidence to shut him up then conveniently suicided him? Just something to keep in mind when digging.

They had to kill him because once he's busted he gets to reduce his sentence when he turns in others. That is how DC cop Longerbeam was captured. They would have made this suicided cop participate in a sting against other DC cops or politicians. He was killed for what he knew about others. Most obvious witness-kill I've ever seen. DC can't be saved. Move the nation's capital the hell out of there and into the middle of America.

What the shit? This is a lot of action in short time for law enforcement snafus related to CP.

The theory of them being disappeared is looking very likely. Even if* suicides are occurring, despite losing these valuable sources of Intel... At least we are getting closer. The pressure is on. Even if they kick the can, evidence is left behind.

The issue with disappearing? If true... We lose the evidence left behind. I'd imagine they'd wipe it clean first, make a threat/payment to the survivors (who gives a fuck about them, if one of your family members is into CP? That's a line you don't cross)

So... Take the money, protection, immunity, etc... And they will also refuse further investigation as part of the deal.

If this string continues to unravel in this direction, it may be wise to try and see the official reports and talk to those who file them. I'd imagine there would be some missing details /notes if foul play was involved.

And... If these were suicides... Then there should be evidence left behind.

Hey isn't that great he was caught. That poor, poor girl. I hope she can recover and get on with her life positively, although it's rare after an abuse like this. Most probably her life has been ruined and she'll live though a hell of drugs and alcohol in order to forget it.

That he killed himself afterwards was his choice, obviously a troubled man. The world may be better without him, as he possibly realized himself.

It's hard to say. There doesn't seem to be much information regarding Jones actual cause of death.

It does all make me wonder how many of these girls have been disappeared; and, is this less "unconnected" than the former C of P, Ms Lanier would have us believe with these cases? Is JA protecting his protection? He does seem cozy with the new chief.

And most of the commenters must be paid. They all said that he killed himself. It is more likely he got disappeared, especially if he was molesting one of the missing girls.
