They used real planes on 9/11 to hit the towers. But you are correct about the planes not causing the buildings to collapse.

To do that they wired WTC 1, 2 and 7 with demolition charges just like you would see on TV when people bring down buildings.

9/11 was an inside job. Real planes hit the towers. The rest was done through controlled demolition.

Oh I wasn't a 9/11 Truther until a couple of months ago. I was just like you and thought the buildings could collapse just from being exposed to burning jet fuel. The argument is steel doesn't need to melt for it to fail.

Well I was wrong, very wrong. Steel is steel because it requires insanely high temperatures to make. The heat and injected oxygen burn of any impurities. It's the impurities that make Iron problematic for large buildings. It's almost useless for large structures like a Sky Scraper or the Golden Gate Bridge. Burning jet fuel to a steel beam would be something like a really warm blanket on a cold winter's night. And that's if the fuel is actively burning which it wasn't after the first plane impacts. The black smoke proves the fires were starved of oxygen and therefor burning at a much lower temperature. In fact you can see people peeking out of the impact holes trying to get help. It's one of the most fucked up and devastating things I've ever seen.

The interviews with architects and mechanical engineers is what convinced me:

Nanothermite is like regular thermite on steroids. It burns faster and hotter which is what you'd want to do if you wanted the buildings to collapse in a timely manner.
