Child Porn is already against the law.

palmitespo910

Laws need to be worded very specifically

pbvrocks

Awwww...click click and things fall into place...watch Gowdys testiminony re internet providers from yesterday...he talks about the difficulty of prosecuting pedo because of evidence...almost always requires the child to testify...the video evidence would save a child from having to testify against an HRC or WJC, etc...this HAS to be in place before they can expect to arrest and prosecute these folks...

palmitespo910

Well, wait, I'm not sure I understand your connection. In my understanding,

because of evidence...almost always requires the child to testify...the video evidence would save a child from having to testify...

would mean that it would now be blatantly unlawful to play video evidence in a court room, wouldn't it? Or is it about the same caliber as, say, using a bag of weed in a court room to show it as evidence?

How in the hell is this not a law already!?!?!?! 🤔🤔😠😠

If I had to guess, I'd imagine it is so the FBI and CIA don't have to get caught up in the legalities of disseminating CP to the people they are trying to catch. But, honestly, I don't know.

At this time, there isn't really any other information available. When I clicked to find the text of the bill, this was in its place.

As of 03/30/2017 text has not been received for H.R.1761 - To amend title 18, United States Code, to criminalize the knowing consent of the visual depiction, or live transmission, of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, and for other purposes. Bills are generally sent to the Library of Congress from GPO, the Government Publishing Office, a day or two after they are introduced on the floor of the House or Senate. Delays can occur when there are a large number of bills to prepare or when a very large bill has to be printed.

Isn't that already a criminal offence?!?

I am combing through US Code: Title 18 right now, and I have yet to find specifics about this particular wording or scenario.

This bill was very quietly introduced among all of the hoopla created over the FCC Privacy Protections rollback or whatever. Relevant to Pizzagate because it is important to get the law in order before starting to round up a lot of these higher level perps.
