I don't know why you are being downvoated... it's a serious question. We can't ignore the possibility. The ramifications would be paralyzing and extremely demotivating. A little bit more evidence would certainly be nice, but, if everything mentioned is true/verifiable - we need to look at all angles.

If this were the case, I wouldn't even know where to begin. That would mean that both sides of this were in on it since the beginning. The entire Never Trump movement was a sham. The entire 24/7 debate about how terrible Trump is would be fake, because they would know that he is one of them.
