In my view, the Vault7 leaks have just come to us from a CIA insider, and who knows how many other leaks have too.

Edward Snowden, also an insider, provided us with the largest NSA leak in history.

Chelsea Manning, the army insider disclosed nearly three-quarters of a million classified, or unclassified but sensitive military documents.

These are just a few instances off the top of my head where 'insiders' have had the strength of character and moral compass to do what's right.

Craig Sawyer also did this when he was working for the Federal Air Marshal Service. He saw things weren't right and so left, sacrificing the substantial benefits he would have received had he stayed for just 2 more years and hit the 20-year mark of government service.

I posit that there will always be those who, even when working for the side who's doing wrong, will come on over to the other side. They can't continue on without doing something.
