"The photograph was taken when the victim was 12 years old and shows her completely naked, from the back. It was shot by her mother, a New Zealand artist. For legal reasons the Herald cannot identify the artist, her daughter or the photograph. The victim, now an adult, said the image is one of many naked photographs of her - taken at a time when she was being sexually abused by two men known to her mother."

So many elements in this report which are very familiar to anyone who has researched the global paedogate. The mother is considered an "artist" because she sells photos of nude children in art galleries. The mother had male associates who sexually abused her daughter. Finally, the media is involved in coverup. Understandable that the abuse victim would have name suppression. But there is no reason to not name the mother/photographer who was after all exhibiting the photo in a gallery. I suspect that a clean sweep of paedo in NZ would take down much of the government, media, and judges. They all protect one another

Did you really believe that pedophilia was never within the scope of sexual 'progressives'? Progressives have never had issue in promoting their sexually liberal doctrines in plain view of children, public pride parades for example. On topic, i personally think 'art' has always been used as a money laundering system, modern art is objectively ugly talentless trash and often needlessly pornographic, its unappealing to witness and not worth the materials required to make it. You can produce it cheap and the actual value is of course subjective, or atleast it is been insisted on being subjective to the point people pay millions for a hideous painting.

It stands to reason that this would be perfect to sell illegal contents with, sell someone a poorly painted picture of a penis for $500,000 publicly and privately hand them over some trafficked children.

Yes, in my own small circle of close friends I know two (now adult) NZ women who were raped as children. One was molested by an uncle, the other was raped by a policeman. Both complained to police and nothing happened in either case.

If the mother was named then that would result in the daughter being identified by association, so name suppression makes sense in this case.

Ok, I can see that point of view if requested by the victim, especially if the victim still uses the same surname as the mother. However NZ is notorious for suppressing names of elite criminals.
