I always wondered why this kid flashed the 3-6 hand sign, why not a thumbs up or a peace sign. The fact that there's a Hillary portrait next to them, makes me think they were sending a message.

I remember that picture. It was taken right by the picture of Hillary when Trump was welcoming a group of children. That boy is the one he picked to stand with him by her picture. Signifying, Hey Hillary, here I am with children right next to your picture. Don;t know if the boy doing what you imply or if he is just signaling that all is OK.

There are perhaps a hundred million people making this exact symbol at this very minute. Many of them are children holding sewing needles while working in sweat shops in Bangledesh and India. Kids are so rarely given instructions as to what meaning all possible hand gestures might have and to whom. My guess is this kid knows it as the AOK symbol like most people would.
