If you wish to deploy more secure controls, do it gradually and in as muddy a manner as you can think up.

As an IT pleb, I can confidently hypothesize that traffic monitoring of this nature can and will include some amount of AI/automated controls to flag more "interesting" patterns for further "research" by agents or other filters.
