It's called Zatch Bell! and is an anime about kids and preteens. The reason I thought it was of interest, is because my SO said he used to watch this show all the time on Cartoon Network/Disney as a kid - so it got aired here very often as well (which is weird to me considering they talk about seeing preteens underwear at times). I tried to do some digging myself, but came up short because I'm not really sure where to start/how you even guys find the trails that you do. The Japanese name of the anime is Konjiki No Gash Bell!
