This video is worth watching for the insight it provides into how high ranking powerful men who went on to have wives and children nevertheless replayed their childhood violence and sexual abuse by becoming predators themselves. So elite schools are grooming future pedophiles by allowing abuse at the hands of headmaster and fellow students alike.

That is exactly what I thought when I was considering this post. You should write all of my future descriptions. I had a wacky experience tonight. Someone showed up at my door with a tattoo of a slice of pizza on his face, with a tear drop, made to look like a sauce dripping. I took pictures. Had a very direct conversation with him. He also had another face tattoo, ( wtf?...), and it was an inverted cross. ( We all know what that is.). He said he got into a lot of stupid shit when he was younger..... I got a strong feeling that he was abused.

He was soliciting , door to door, for The Clean Water Act, ( EPA, total bullshit organization located in...wait for it..... The Federal Triangle........ ) I researched that too. Took screen shots of some crazy stuff. But the Clean Water Act logo is, well.... google it..... Anyway, it's a long story and I don't know how to put it into this format. I was completely mind blown.

I knew Alex at university and always wondered why he was so bitter and unhappy. So glad he has had the courage to speak out and thereby come to terms with the abuse he suffered. I went to a similar prep school where exactly the same sort of abuse was rife. In my experience, and having discussed this issue with my contemporaries, every prep school seemed to have two or three pedophile teachers and they would carefully target dutiful and trusting boys - almost all first born or only children. My elder brother was abused when only about nine and then went on to abuse younger boys throughout his school career - to my utter shame. I'm sure it was one of the major factors in his decline into alcoholism.

Pro-tip: If you need workers who are willing to live on-site with children and work 60 hours a week for less than $40,000 a year despite having a bachelors and/or master's degree, the only people you will attract for the job are idiots and pedophiles.

Cream of the crop lemmie tell ya!! A veritable cornucopia of pervs to choose from!!

Lol. Dude that was brilliant. As a fellow snarky wordsmith I salute you.

Yes, but I think it has far less to do with money, than it does access to children and opportunity. These Washington big wigs do not need the marginal profits which one can hope for by owning a pizza joint. These kinds of people take jobs like this in order to hide in plain sight, and be protected by the institutions that created their perversions to begin with. Where there are children, there are pedophiles.

Where there are children, there are pedophiles.

When access to children is the primary compensation for the job, you get more pedophiles. If you want fewer pedophiles in schools, make them compete with professionals who expect actual compensation for their work.

What sort of person gets that job... hiring teachers... ? This is top down, institutionalized pedophilia. It begins and ends with the top tier. How does allowing the administrators to knowingly employ perverts; enact a strict policy of shaming, and threatening victims into silence, with no one in law enforcement offering any sort of protection or justice to these children, fix the problem? The head of the snake is represented in all of these cases...and thats where we start making the biggest changes. The problem there is that anyone currently in a position to move against these long held practices is totally in on it, blackmailed, threatened, or otherwise not talking.....

Principals hire new staff with the budget provided by taxpayers.

This is top down, institutionalized pedophilia. It begins and ends with the top tier.

Incorrect, it's mostly the fault of taxpayers.

How does allowing the administrators to knowingly employ perverts; enact a strict policy of shaming, and threatening victims into silence, with no one in law enforcement offering any sort of protection or justice to these children, fix the problem?

They don't, and most teachers I know go through extraordinary lengths to avoid false rape accusations from their students. School districts would hire fewer pedophiles if the primary compensation for teaching was something other than having control over children.

The problem there is that anyone currently in a position to move against these long held practices is totally in on it, blackmailed, threatened, or otherwise not talking.....

If taxpayers offered teachers a decent salary commensurate with their skills, responsibilities, and workload, the profession would attract more individuals who aren't pedophiles.

Teaching attracts pedophiles because the primary compensation is access to children. This happens regardless of what higher-up's desire because funding is limited by taxpayers and professionals don't work for free . You end up with pedophiles teaching because they put more value on access to children versus payment. If you want fewer pedophiles, you need to attract skilled professionals who put less value on access to children and more value on money.

You must be a teacher. ... Chill out... Not ALL teachers are perverts. I'm a teacher! Did you watch the video? This is one institution where perversions were covered up, as per policy.

"Boarding School Syndrome". This is a new term for me. According to this writer, society is run by people who were traumatized by these institutions, which has brought on this new term.... I'm in a rush today, so I can't really research, but this school is affiliated with Eaton, where many high level authorities/politicians attended.

In his new book, ‘Stiff Upper Lip’, the journalist, Alex Renton describes his torment at being sent away to board at the age of just eight. But he also documents the years of physical and sexual abuse that he says he suffered in school.
