It is my personal opinion, but I think there is a great possibility Madeleine was found/rescued in the US and is currently in federal protective custody, pizzagate truth pending.

I'm confused on this article. She was a nanny for Madeleine? Was she there because the article made it sound that way. If so, why was she not in the room watching the kids?

Also this part "Breaking her silence after 10 years, the witness also claimed the resort from which Madeleine vanished was considered so unsafe nannies were handed rape alarms and told to not go out alone." is disturbing. If this was known by the nanny, certainty the parents knew this info. So why would they leave the kids alone in the room?

Either this article is crap, the nanny's story is crap or these parents are idiots.

EDIT: If you're wondering why the language is so strange, it's because the statements were made in English, translated to Portuguese and then back to English. Also, she made several (slightly different) statements.

Yeah, she claim she was there at the time, as she saw the McCann's right after the disappearance and helped searching for her. Looking for her body in garbage bins sounds pretty stupid, though.

Ya, that does sound stupid as well as the fact she was there, as a Nanny but not watching the kids, knew the resort was unsafe and recommended they wear rape alarms and to not go out alone, but ok to leave kids alone?! Something is VERY suspicious. Makes zero sense.
