People are so estranged from their families now days, that they could easily go missing without anyone immediately noticing. It could take a few days or much longer.

Gov has been in the businesses of breaking up families for years. It started with latchkey kids imo.

Now people "lose" babies and most of the time nobody notices for a while. And sadly, some may never be noticed.

I would say it started with Johnson's "Great Society." A certain group then learned that they could make more money by spitting out more babies, and there was no "need" (financially) for a father.

But, yeah, the later latchkey syndrome broke up the white families.
