I really think focusing on the symbolism is a wild goose chase, brand logos dont always have hidden meaning, when designing a logo you need something simple, memorable, unique and creative, its not a stretch that someone just came up with that logo without any reference to pedophillia, hating the brand just because they use a symbol that pedos use is silly, at best you could use it as a reson to investigate so see if there is anything substantive, like who designed the logo, who runs the company etc, but this proves nothing.

Those adds dont display anything super negative either, well unless you really hate whatsherface or if your surprised a marketing campaign that appeals to females slaps you in the face with some liberal crap.

If the CEO is a pedophile, its not like his icecreams or adverts are grooming children for him, or promoting pedophillia or trying to make it more acceptable.

My point on this is that the symbolism is just far too vague, at best it makes one inquire but its proof of nothing and i keep seeing far too many people using it as evidence for something whereas it is evidence of NOTHING.

Also 'do some research' isnt very helpful, its better to be explicit in these cases and just bluntly state exactly why it matters, how is polman connected?

Symbols mean whatever you want to, a spiral to one person may be something completely different to another, for pedophiles hearts and spirals have perverted connotations, to me a heart is a symbol of love, whether its one heart or 2, a spiral makes me think of being dizzy, so those symbols to me mean something completely different, perceptions on images are subjective, there is NO objective meaning for symbols, so the pedophile symbols ONLY have their pedophile meanings IF the symbols were chosen BY pedophiles, you are putting the cart before the horse on this one.

and if you are using polman as evidence of pedophillia, then its up to you to prove why.

I was over at a friends today and this show was on TV ( still open all hours ) - I was see that - that's a pedo logo, opened my phone googled FBI pedo logo and She is like 70 and she says that logo was on suckers years ago...wtf.

That's a Unilever ice cream logo that they use on many different brands of ice cream (such as good humor, for example). Just fyi. Some of the Comet crowd were making references to Good Humor products.
