Watching the interview of Shealah (sp?) blows their accusations out the water. She seems very self confident and intelligent. She seems relaxed, smiles, and exhibits no signs of fear toward her alleged "controller," Mark, who sits near her.

In addition -

• Deciding not to have children at a young age is a CLASSIC sign of an abused child. We saw it with Christina Crawford (“Mommy Dearest”) and countless other victims. /
• Estrangement from the family is also classic abused child behavior. (Actually, it’s usually what a scapegoated child does after becoming “fed up.”) /
• Their mother “helped her with her nails before prom,” and that is somehow “evidence that they were close?” Yeah, OK. /
• By their own admission, their father flew down there to visit and “everything was fine.” If she was mind controlled, why wouldn’t Dad pick up on it? /
• The "loving family" continues to criticize her. The father criticizes her on his blog. That is typical treatment of a scapegoat child.

I didn't like the sisters' body language on that video. They also exaggerated several things that Shealah said.

I think Shealah was the abusive father's scapegoat child so one of the other children must have have been the golden child (his favorite who could do no wrong). I think Shealah finally said, "Enough!" Good for her for getting out.

The mother is codependent and sick herself so will defend her husband./the father no matter what (also classic).

It is their word against hers, and the evidence supports her version of events IMO.

BTW, this is a crypto Jewish family.
