If you find out anything from v/VoatDev please repost in v/pizzagatemods . You can always post links to it in comments of threads on the main board, and use the "H" button to put a headline on your commitment to make it stand out.

my upvoats are registering but a large number of the totals of new and hot submissions are not moving / very strange for over 3000 users

That's indeed a bit strange. Have you seen this in other subs, too? Could maybe be a glitch, seeing they have been "tampering" with the search bar again.

Logging off now after 3 hours and most totals have not moved significantly, or at all, all morning. 3500 users is the most in weeks, so that number looks off, too. Something is fishy.

Hi remedy, that does sound weird. There were only a couple hundred on last night...been like that since Easter. Before that I was usually seeing 700-900 in the evenings.

The place to go to see if they have mentioned anyone tweaking the code is v/VoatDev and v/announcements . You can also check PuttitOut's comment history.

If there is nothing on NEW in any of those subs, go ahead and repost this question and a description of the problem with screenshots if you've got them at v/VoatDev . I did see a comment somewhere similar to this awhile back in which the reply was that it can take a while for counts to update.

I did notice my upvotes on some posts not "sticking" last night when I refreshed the screen. It took several tries on some. Eventually they all were marked, though.

I understand your concern, and we will try to find out. However, whenever developers change the site programming, all kinds of glitches can occur, and this might (or might not) just be one.

Just randomly checked other subverses with many subscribers (mostly 5-figure subs) - can't be sure as I don't visit them often, but their numbers are much, much lower than our current ones, usually only a couple of hundred, so this could well be a glitch.
