maybe so but i prefer to be a little more optimistic and see that things have changed from the Obama times. 10 times the arrests of the previous year and more arrests then the past like 5 years already. If you don't think its positive then that is your choice.

The bottom line is that over the past 8 years there have been on average 1155 arrests per year. This year alone in the first 4 month there have been 4011!!!!!! 4 times the amount.

Arrests were not included for those made in a joint investigation with other agencies when a state or local code was used nor for Child Exploitation cases when a different provision of the U.S.Code was used for the basis of arrest.

Stats NEED context. The FBI doesn't count busts made in conjunction with local and state law enforcement, or busts where a local or state statute is referenced in the charges.

So there really is NO strong evidence for a rise in arrests. Let alone a rise attributable to any one source.

I'm not, I'm saying its average.

You referenced the 1155 average arrests p/yr, (According to UCR crime data I presume, seeing as how most of these were FBI related arrests)

UCR only records arrests made STRICTLY UNDER TITLE 18 of the US code.

So it's not an accurate representation of the TOTAL ARRESTS MADE P/YR, only a total of arrests made where Title 18 was the only statute referenced in the charges.

Seeing as how there are only two metrics for nationwide arrest data, you're still not getting a comprehensive look at the total arrests per year.

FYI, UCR has 980 2015 arrests for child exploitation in general, which would be a better metric for this then strictly human trafficking.
