I agree, it looks like blood. We've seen too many paintings similar to this to not believe that's blood. Biljana djudjevik is the artist we are all familiar with who paints like this. I've searched many of her paintings but didn't find this one. Maybe someone has copied her style.

I donno bout you, but I don't have art of young boys or girls up on my wall. Typically if someone has art on their wall of people, it's of the sorts of people they find attractive. Even in cases where it's more abstract you can still tell the person is an adult.
