In a long drawn court proceedings, Geilenfeld eventually filed and won a lawsuit against Kendrick for defamation for $14.5 million after charges were dismissed. However, that finding was reversed and Geilenfeld was re-charged but has yet to go back to Haiti to face those charges. The information about Geilenfeld and Kenrick has been posted previously.
