Wait, so people ok with the monitization of horse-torture are also ok with the monitized sex-torture-trade? Shocked!

When it comes to their party they can always look the other way. Besides the poor kids and the ones not from their bloodlines, etc. and of a different race and color are less than animals. These vermin disgust me. They are not human imo.

Seems odd they they are specifically mentioning Knoxville, even though it is 4 hours away. There must be a lot of trafficking going on in Knoxville

I-40 and I-75 intersect in downtown knoxville. It's always been a hotspot for anyone running anything.

From the article -

"Knoxville is less than four hours by car from Louisville via major highways. Authorities in Tennessee point to Knoxville's geographic location with proximity to Atlanta, in addition to its access to several major interstates, as reasons it may be an easy target for human traffickers.

Kate Trudell, executive director of the Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking, said human trafficking can flourish in the environment of a major sporting event.

"When you throw a bunch of people in the same space, and there's alcohol and excitement and activity happening, it's intuitive to think that other activities will be on the rise, and sex trafficking is no different than that," Trudell said.

Human trafficking is essentially modern day slavery, Trudell said. It's the use of force, fraud or coercion to induce someone into doing a labor, service or sexual act.

Trudell also adds that there is no such thing as a child prostitute in the state of Tennessee. If a commercial sex act involves someone under the age of 18, it is considered human trafficking.

Trudell said the highway system across Tennessee and in Knoxville provides "perfect mobility" for traffickers , and people should be on alert if ..."

Was the article edited to add that? I didn't see it originally, probably I didn't scroll down enough. I need more coffee

Tennessee in General. Is that the closest large airport servicing elites with drivers and limos to the Derby? Also logistics and conditions may be just right. Hotels, transport and LE that are all willing to comply. It is the same with organ harvesting. All conditions are sought out ahead of time. Close proximity is the solution.

Lousiville has a good sized airport right there. And Lexington KY airport is about an hour away too, where they frequently ship horses to/from Keeneland, so...?

carmencita

Yeah, so is right. No what? There has to be some reason. Remember the C2C shipping containers? The Ohio River is right there and would provide a perfect transport for trafficking. What do you think?

The linked story says that Knoxville is en route to Atlanta, I guess it must be a hub of a ratline. I guess extra kids are brought up from Atlanta for the derby.

"Certainly that environment does invite the space for more people to be exploited than normal, but we have to remember that it's an every day issue," Trudell said. THIS we must also reflect upon. It will not go away when everyone goes home. So they probably ARE being brought in from Atlanta but I think shipping is much easier for them than flying them in. Harder to detect. There would be a huge elite customer base to satisfy for the Derby and many must be brought in, imo. We know now why Elton John and his hubby have a place in Atlanta.

Atlanta is one of the biggest hubs with ratlines running for sure to Chicago Racine/Milwaukee to St Louis and South to New Orleans and then of course over to Virginia and down to Miami. We can go on and on to Philly to Baltimore NJ to NY and others on the East Coast then out to Denver (very big there) and it goes on and on. Would be great if a bunch of people got together and drew up a map of possible ratlines, maybe just a starter map. I am going to go over the story again.
