I think it might be Lucifer in italian: Lucifero or Liucifero

privatepizza

i agree it looks like this too, however we are thinking we found the answer. See the OP edit! Thanks for looking : )

carmencita

IO SONO LIBERO It is an Italian film. I have tried to find the English translation of the description, but not as yet. It means I was born free.

Pizzalawyer

Wow, you're good!

carmencita

Grazie:-))

privatepizza

It does indeed look like that carmencita, grazie, I think you may have got it !

Must say I was hoping for something occult connected, Crowley, OTO, but hey, if it's born free it's born free ; )

carmencita

It could mean something different to her. I was born free.....to do whatever I want? That's how I see her way of thinking. I see it as seeing to do whatever she wants even though it is evil. These people have their own meanings, things they are entitled to that we are not. I know that is pushing her words, but that is how I see her.

TimesUp

I think the official OTO creed is "do what thou wilt," which fits with "born free to do whatever I want!" Either way, we certainly know what Abramovic and her patrons stand for...

privatepizza

I appreciate your perspective and agree. You're right. We know how she uses symbology throughout her art after all, and 'I was born free' is 'Do what thy wilt' in other words. I see her as you do, and that there's hidden meaning and code through all her work. Thanks for helping me see this one, it helps a lot.

carmencita

Yeah, they all have their code, just like the pedos, but guess what? We have figured it out. Ha Ha.

privatepizza

Absolutely ! Laughing... well you did! Hey, you were right !! I just found this -

In Rhythm 0, Studio Morra, Naples, 1975, someone wrote ‘IO SONO LIBERO’ (I am free) in lipstick on a mirror and made Abramović hold it. Someone wrote ‘END’ across her forehead. Someone else slowly poured a cup of water on her head. Someone else wiped the tears from her eyes. The gallerist drove Abramović back to her hotel when the performance was finished. When she awoke the next morning, Abramović noticed a clump of her hair had turned gray.

Thanks for your help and inspiration ; )

Io sono al liger?

privatepizza

Yes it could be, thank you. I'm looking for a translation of 'al liger' but nothing's coming up so far... will keep going.

carmencita

See my comment

2impendingdoom

io sono = i am

the last word, I can't tell what it says either.

privatepizza

Thanks anyway, appreciate you taking a look.

TimesUp

Hard to tell, but it roughly looks like the world 'Lucifer.'

privatepizza

Thanks, I'm trying to see that, it's hard on the eyes. In Italian - Lucifer -- Lucifero. ER could be the second last 2 letters, with the R hidden by her hand, or just the ER as in lucifer as you say. There's definitely the L there?

TimesUp

Yes, the "L" is clear, but I also detect a lower-case "f" at the spot that it would occur in the the word Lucifer, but who knows?

I think what @carmencita observes is interesting, too...

privatepizza

Appreciate your help !

privatepizza

I'm with you... I was seeing that too. It really does appear to look like lucifer, and tbh I saw that first when I looked and thought to ask for other opinions. However, I just found the answer and @carmencita is correct --

Very interesting! Great find.

privatepizza

Yes, she's ever enigmatic and uses symbology everywhere.... so it's good to document this photograph. Thanks again ; )

carmencita

God she is weird, like she is the devil her(him)self.

privatepizza

Really she is... she's definitely something 'else'. I've been researching her for months now and found some great new material. Getting ready to post it soon. She's incredible at code, and no wonder she's so revered in certain 'circles'. She's amazing at what she does in that respect.

carmencita

Yeah, and her skin, I wonder how she keeps it so milky looking and no wrinkles? Hmm.

privatepizza

Ah-mazing isn't it? Hmm indeed. Have you ever seen a 70 year old look like that? Me no..

carmencita

Face lift, no. Looks too real, like she was about 40. I would love to look like that, but not at the price of children.

privatepizza

I believe she's had laser treatment for her skin tone (it's incredibly changed / improved from previous videos), and her lips definitely look pumped / shaped. However for a woman of that age she still completely defies nature. Let's be happy with how we look sans 'ingredient x' ; )

carmencita

What is really clear to me are the first two letters as L i for sure. Everyone sees things differently.........Yes.
