The reason the Russians have been made out to be enemies is because they managed to salvage their patrimony and restore public spiritual life after 70 years of slaughter and oppression by the same group that is running the show here.

It's loosely connected to Pizzagate because the Russian hacking myth was created in part to try to deflect Pizzagate. They can try to claim that it was the Russians that hacked them and put those images of them doing strange things.
