In light of the announcement can anyone help make a backup of the sub data? ( pizzagate )

If i can get it done il torrent it out for other users. Any help appreciated

You might contact the OP of the sticky since he's saying he's the programmer for Voat. He probably has backups, but no telling if he'll share them. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

Rumors have been circling this sub for a while now.

OP wants pointers on how to backup all the info. Like a trusted archive site. Maybe archive.is, even tho they had some fishy incidents recently. Maybe a way to save it all to a usb? Or another site?

I meant the OP of the sticky that this OP is referring to. When I backup websites I do it as an ftp from the server. I have no idea how to do it from "the outside." I did a quick search on how to do this but came up empty. I'll bet there's more than one autist on 4chan who is much smarter than I am and can work up a script to do it. It would take awhile, even if it's just focused on the PG sub but it basically would be a bot and crawl the pages one by one, copying the info to another location. What about the Pizzagatebot guy who wrote the bot script that appended related links to our posts? Or was he outed as a shill? I can't remember.

Looks like putt has enough on his plate, periodically people have created text only versions of all the data here. Its just slightly out of my technical knowledge to do and know its 100%
