Pizzalawyer

Am I missing something, did you provide examples? Are the references good enough to serve as a wake up call for the unaware?

Pipebomb

I don't have cable or watch any of these primetime network series.

Which season or episodes have PG story lines? I wanna watch them.

l23r

There was an episode a few weeks back that did the Pizzagate thing, right down to having crazy guy with a gun yelling about "the basement" while running into the restaurant, except this was an Asian place and not a Pizza parlour.

I don't have cable either, or even a television; but even if I did, the current season of shows don't even run where I live. I just stream stuff online.

SwampAintDrained

Presuming that was post-pizzagate, they probably do it intentionally to further blur the line between reality and fiction.

Mylon

Wasn't that the whole subtext of the rebooted X-files? Taking existing conspiracies and perverting them to make them into wacky TV drama crap?

AssFaceSandwich2

Yes, I seem to remember that too.

watitdew

eh, writers need material to work with. you could say the same about true detctive s1.

sunshine702

House of Cards gives me the shivers now. Doug is SO PODESTA!!!! Weirdo Powerplayer.

tadorno

Exactly. So anytime somebody brings up any real life evidence, everybody can just go "That was on TV you idiot" and boom, we're 'discredited'
