Thanks for sharing. Disney rots your kids brains as well.

forgive me if I'm breaking some unspoken rule somewhere

Not unspoken, but clearly stated in the sidebar. Please add a link relevant to the topic, then repost.

I'm old school and don't understand why any kids are watching TV at all. Any tv for really young kids needs to be very limited and in the company of their parents, age appropriate and the parents need to be alert to subliminal messaging. And this post is pushing the limits on relevancy, i'm afraid.

The kids youtube video topic has been talked about for a couple days now on this sub. I'd hardly say it's pushing limits on relevancy. Unless we are deleting all posts about inappropriate kids youtube vids.

Thanks for adding your personal experience. There is definitely something bigger and more sinister going on. These vids have recently pointed to some association with the Finders Cult, as well as invoking trance-like states for children watching them.

I totally agree. I only allowed educational shows until about age 3-4, then got Nick Jr and Disney Junior. Disney Junior seems to be absolute crap with little educational value but Nick Jr actually has some decent shows. I prefer the simple ones like Max and Ruby, Ben and Hollys Little Kingdom ect. However I raised them on older shows like Kipper the Dog, Thomas the Tank Engine, Little Bear. These were much more calm shows without a lot of bright colors.

Some of the best times I've had with my kids have been spent watching Little Bear because they are just so damn calm and content. I think there is definitely something to the bright and loud shows that rule TV now.

Hey! Nice post... I'm not 100% sold on the MK Ultra/Hidden Messages on YouTube topic, but a lot of people on Voat are. One rule you'll need to follow is to add a link to your comment. Something that has substance/analysis of the claim, as opposed to just another link of a children's song would be preferred.

Thanks!

Edit: Actually this was in response to someone else's post about them targeting autistic children through massive sensory stimulation not necessarily MKUltra-specific. It makes total sense now that I think about it. My autistic child's behavior becomes erratic, hyperactive, violent, just plain mean when they are exposed to Youtube. For the period of time they were watching daily the behavior was the worst. It's almost like weening them off a drug. Eventually the behavior calms down to a much more normal level but once exposed again, the "addiction" to these videos comes back fast.

I was trying to share a personal experience but I could link to some of the videos that my children watched. One was a knock off Peppa Pig with this mean looking angry dentist, that pulled Peppa's nasty looking cavities while she cried. I came in cause my non autistic child called for me. She had her hand over her mouth and looked like she was about to cry. She said she was scared and she didn't like the video, I turned that crap off and told her she wasn't watching it ever again. She's smart enough she understood. I just didn't realize it was such a widespread problem until later.
