Yes, who knows what the real truth is, except that as you say it was magnificently bungled. Reports doctored or never even filed, who knows. This is why we have been at this so long. But we have found some good info before we were railroaded by quite a few trolls, shills, CTR and who knows who else. A lot of fake bricks thrown at our research. Let's get back on that train.

Holy shit... so... there are 3 scenarios here. Starting with the one everyone wants to hear:

  1. GW and JG are pure disinfo... they attempted to shill/fake out the media, got freaked out when the file size changed, thought they were compromised and threw Defango under the bus.

  2. This is an innocent misunderstanding, from two admittedly not-very-technical guys... who got a file, it was modified/recompressed, they assume that version #2 (.7z) was somehow hacked. But it wasn't and it is purely a compression variation of the same files, and needless finger pointing is going on.

  3. Defango/KimDotCom/TheRabbit are working together to trick GW and JA into self-incrimination/distribution of illegal files, as either a joke/ultra-troll, or as part of a more nefarious plot.

I don't know the answer, but, I know following this is better than any movie I've ever seen.

I never followed GW, only seen a few of his vids, but the latest I saw where he admits he's Old Guard Mossad says it all for me. What's concerning is he also claimed to be a courier or something of that nature to Wiki?!?! What the flying fuck? That REALLY bothers me and makes me second guess Wiki leak info, the old stuff.

A journalist Trish the Dish was contacted by someone (the Rabbit), offering her a file allegedly from Seth Rich. Apparently Seth made 10 thumb drives with DNC information and left it with people for safe keeping.

Trish contacted Webb and went and got the thumb drive from The Rabbit on Friday and joined GW and Goodman in DC to release it. They (GW team), uploaded it to mega.nz on Friday evening and many thousands downloaded it.

Defango is a programmer guy who'd been following the investigation and came in to help them with file upload and tech stuff.

Defango received Trish's file from Trish, and another copy (the original), from the person The Rabbit got theirs from. He uploaded both, as they were both the same file. One was a .zip and the original a 7zip, as Trish had unpacked the file when she got it, and zipped it up again, destroying the chain of custody and integrity of the file, claims Defango and other white hat hackers.

Trish contacted The Rabbit, who said he didn't give the file to Defango. Defango said The Rabbit, and the person who gave it to The Rabbit, became concerned about giving Trish the file after Webb revealed he was working for Old Massad. They then decided they didn't want them having the file, and sent the original file straight to Defango.

Defango is stepping out of his connection with Webb et all because of their connection with Massad. The people Trish have been working with for a long time have now blocked her from their network and The Rabbit has too. They don't want anything to do with the Maassad or GW either. The drama continues....

A number of white hat hackers (inc. Defango), are saying that this file has been available for 8 months and is part of the Guccifer 2.0 leak and nothing new.
