I posted something similar to this and had my post taken down TWO TIMES. A link to slavery and the sugar industry can be made to pizzagate. In past centuries, the american slave trade was called "the triangle trade." A piece of pizza takes the shape of a triangle when it has been cut. So, "piece of pizza" = "slave" -- but hey, they deleted it twice.

It's time to end the sugar subsidies which have been a source of problems going back to the 70s. The working conditions are deplorable and I believe there were several 13th Amendment anti-slavery lawsuits in the 1970s which would remedy the situation for a year or 2 then back to business as usual. The sugar industry is a major factor in the pollution of the Everglades wherein little progress has been made in clean up despite litigation which has been ongoing for more than a decade. Then there is the issue of cheap sugar which is making our people fatter and diabetic. I say eliminate the subsidies and buy Cuba's sugar at market rates. We might solve some political chicanery as well. An issue for another subverse, though, not pizzagate.
