One side of Bloomingdale was nice, the other was not as nice and the crime rate rose. That side bordered two of the highest crime rate neighborhoods in DC

Saw it on a real.estate website and reporting at the time of Rich's death mentions the recent increase in crime.

It's quite easy to get crime info for neighborhoods on the web. Look it up.

@carmencita . As I mentioned in the other thread I occasionally shop at the Trader Joe's near Bob Diamond's tunnel. I've never lived in DC
