Thanks for posting this, jangles. It was really sick what happened here. These poor kids train their hearts out and to have the team doctor and numerous coaches use their desire for Olympic renown to manipulate and abuse them is just fucking sick.

This is great news that they are adopting these policies. My question is after what happened at Penn State with Sandusky, and Paterno, etc., why didn't US Gymnastics take a look at their own program? All child-related groups should have immediately looked for deficiencies that could result in this type of abuse. We know pedophiles affiliate with groups involving children, I.e., churches, schools, Scouts, athletics, etc. It is a shame it had to go on this long. Hopefully, other groups have woke up by now and taken action.
