I think he is a very smart man who has a top of the line insurance file. He was tortured not to reveal names. Why would they do that instead of just killing him? Bc he had the where with all to make an insurance file is why.
An insurance file contains information that someone(s) don't want released. If the person turns up doa then the insurance file is released. Some insurance files have a dead man's switch/if the person doesn't login at specific intervals (determined by the person) then the file is automatically released. Bernard would know the names of the top tier. They tortured him to impress the point don't reveal who we are bc these ppl are not the ones you hear about like Soros, Clinton, Rothschild, Rockefeller...these are the nameless ones/the top tier.
If he didn't have an insurance file they would have just killed him. They may have tortured him to gain access to the insurance file but apparently were not successful.
It is somewhat common for leakers and whistle-blowers to have an insurance file. Doesn't look like Seth Rich took that precaution.
