I've got quite an interesting bit to add to the National Enquirer story. Connections with John DuBois III of Jupiter, Florida, from one of the pioneer families of that region..I need to put a post together for that. In the meantime, I happened to come across this vice mayor with the same name and just wondered if there was a family connection. So, to answer your question I have not established any connection...just wondering if there is one.

There are many Mary Hinton's that pop up. One of which is the mother of Melanie Hinton Haupt, the ex-wife of Joe Scarborough. Melanie seems to have been married several times, if you look closely. Obituaries tied to Hinton family members are incredibly vague considering there are social page listings for the Hinton family members.

the geneology is not easy. I was trying to sort out the Podesta cousins and couldn't nail down the McCarthy connection conclusively. It drove me crazy for months. I'm not on facebook but you might find connections there too, once you get some solid leads.
