Pretty screwed up. The only time I can see removing them is in the case of somebody who was say 18 with a 16 year old girlfriend and everything was loving and consensual. I've heard of some young people's lives being ruined for that kind of thing which is far different than a stinking pedophile grooming and raping. Anyone who actually RAPES needs to stay on the list for life whether they are famous, rich or have a good lawyer. It just seems that our legal system is not set up for common sense or decency whatsoever.

I know this has happened in other states as well, and I imagine sex offenders have a list of which states they are so they can pick up and move there.
