because rule 2

BehindTheCurtain

So please tell me how we get a "lets' rally locally" type post up without breaking the rules. THIS board is the one people visit most. It gets the most views and attention. Honestly, it feels like you are trying to suppress pizzagate news...think CNN and MSM games. C'mon...help us out a bit.

"because rule 2"

Which part of rule 2?

Millennial_Falcon

The part that says each post needs a weblink of some kind. It's a pretty easy rule to satisfy.

DarkMath

Thanks for responding. I no longer think you're a shill. Sorry for doubting you. I just had sent you a bunch of messages and you never responded.

Millennial_Falcon

Just hard to find time, since I do not in fact get paid to mod (which I would if I were a shill).

BehindTheCurtain

How do we get a "lets' rally locally" type post up without breaking the rules? Getting people organized locally, to spread the word, is important....as the MSM has suppressed and misrepresented pizzagate.

Submission Removal Log (Lower right corner of screen)

The mod, Millienial Falcon -- probably the most delete-happy mod here -- cites Rule 2.

I hope you will resubmit!! We need more threads like that around here.

MF deleted again. How do we get a "lets' rally locally" type post up without breaking the rules? Scratching my head at the absurdity of it all.

Vindicator

I know it seems absurd, but we are constantly under attack by paid shills trying to disrupt the discussion with posts full of smears, innuendo, character assassination and other non-research BS. Voat has a deep intollerance of censorship; subverses may create mission-critical submission rules and remove posts that do not comply, but only if those rules are defined. Otherwise, removals are subjective and prone to becoming censorship. The rules we've developed allow us to keep the conversation on topic and neuter most of the shilling and disinfo that is contantly shovelled out by those who don't want the free colonoscopies we so generously provide.

They are not absurd, though they may seem onerous. They work pretty well and serious users take the time to understand and follow them and posts are not removed. Here's another helpful explanation: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1826522

BTW....RE:"I hope you will resubmit!! We need more threads like that around here. " I don't recall who submitted the original post. It was not me.

DarkMath

For what it's worth Millenial Falcon posted the updated submission rules:

https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1902278

@Millennial_Falcon is there anyway to get these rule modifications to the Submission Rules section? Or maybe a link put there to the modified rules?

They've already been incorporated into the sidebar. We held off on removing the Share a Link option because it needs further community discussion and consensus.

BehindTheCurtain

MF did it again. How do we get a "lets' rally locally" type post up without breaking the rules?

Vindicator

Link to an example of a similar effort that was effective, or a different effort that was a failure. All you need is a relevant link so it's not an unsourced submission but a research post. You are researching how to best publicize a difficult-to-talk-about taboo like Pizzagate.

BehindTheCurtain

Thank you for that link! I never noticed it before.
