She's just another fake.

Agree.

Factfinder2

I watched this interesting video some time ago and then tried to identify who her veterinarian handler/abuser was. She gives clues but declines to name him, seeming to display some degree of Stockholm syndrome. I could never pinpoint who he was. I did find this report on an investigation into ritual abuse in the Mormon Church conducted by Bishop Glenn Pace, who met with 60 victims but said there were two or three times that many that he didn't have time to interview: http://www.utlm.org/newsletters/no80.htm#PACE%20MEMO

What I can't get over is why victims (edited to replace "abusers" with "victims") won't do what they can to prevent others from being abused by NAMING NAMES of the perpetrators. She's into healing and forgiveness, which is all good, but that does nothing for the next child her abusers set their sights on. Forgiving perpetrators does NOT change them--it changes the forgiver.

I think many victims would still have a fear of their abusers--even if it's an irrational fear. An abuser can seem to have super-human powers to a victim--they can appear to be omnipotent and omniscient. Victims are offering struggling with the fall-out of their abuse--mental health issues, physical and emotional scars left from the abuse. A victim loses a sense of self; he/she is disempowered; it's like having no foundations. Life can be spent trying to pick up the pieces of a wretched childhood--so busy picking up the pieces it's difficult to put a foot forward.

And the threats are key... Severe threats to life and lives of loves ones

Factfinder2

Except that she doesn't say her abuser is threatening her.

3141592653

Honestly I'd find it hard to believe that her abuser/abusers never threatened her/ threatened her life... that's so often part of their sick grooming process--- instilling in kids that they are NOT to tell

Factfinder2

You could be right. When interviewed, her accused abuser, Doc, pressed the interviewer for the name of the city where she was living:

DOC: Where is she living now?

CAMERON: Utah.

DOC: In Utah?

CAMERON: Yeah.

DOC: Like what, Park City?

CAMERON: Yeah.

(Edited to add the last line above.)

CHOOCHOOMF

I heard about this women a while back. Does she have any videos on pizzagate and the larger cabal?

9809400?

Not that I know of, but she thinks she is our messiah and is an alien.

CHOOCHOOMF

Well she's been severely traumatized it's likely that it's a coping mechanism to deal with her trauma. "This happened to me because I'm special"

9799459?

Real is even worse than Zen Gardner. She has Ben exposed as a liar, a olagiarist, and an abusive cult leader.

Factfinder2

Lantana, can you share where you learned this? I'd be interested to see it.

9800798?

I shared a video of hers before I quit fb and then I saw the arguments against her. They were extremely compelling and included an interview with the man she accused of abusing her. I don't like being played like that. So I read everything and listened to many hours of YouTube's from the people she has hurt. Here is something I just found with searching "teal swan fraud". I chose it to answer your question because it seems fairly encyclopedic. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amoraobscura.wordpress.com/2016/10/21/tealswanmasterpost/amp/#ampshare=https://amoraobscura.wordpress.com/2016/10/21/tealswanmasterpost/

Factfinder2

Thanks for the link. After reading, I still don't feel like there is enough information to conclude anything except that Teal is messed up in a major way, makes things up, and is probably a danger to others. That is not evidence against her being ritually abused--on the contrary.

Also, I noticed that the interview with the "doc" is completely devoid of any direct and specific denial of abuse charges. He laughs, calls her psychotic and a good liar, redirects, answers indirectly or answers only a part of the question that does not address actual abuse. In other words, he never actually says he didn't abuse her. Here's an example:

CAMERON: At a friend’s house, she said that you were there, and you knew the friend's father. She said that is when you first had access to her, and that you guys took child pornography pictures with her and her friend, when she was four or five years old. She said that eventually, she was riding her bike, when she was six years old, when you had seen her. You had stopped her on her bicycle, dragged her into a Mormon stake house, where you raped her at six years old, and sent her along her way.

DOC: We were friends, her mother actually worked for me, years ago, before she got married, and before Teal was born. And so we were friends with the family for years and years, and we were around when Teal was born. We saw her growing up. I got a horse for her. We helped with managing the horse, because her parents didn't know anything about it.

Here's the doc's statement about satanism:

JOHN: And you're not a satanist, or a Nazi, just for the record?

DOC: Not that I am aware of. I'm not a Mormon. I don't have anything to do with the Mormon church. I never have. All of that is a confabulation that she's just come up with. There weren’t any negative things. She's made that up. She's made every frickin' thing up. You can't believe anything that comes out of her mouth.

Also, it must be pointed out that the interviewers were unabashedly biased and had their minds made up against Teal before the interview began.

Here's the interview: http://thetruthaboutcameron.blogspot.com/2015/10/the-complete-interview-of-teal-swans.html

@Piscina

9809321?

I have met pathological liars before, and she rings that bell for me. I can totally see your point about bias etc.

There is just soooo much material against her. Police reports taken but deemed nonsensical. An open letter from her ex, Sardeep Swan. Plagiarism claims from nithyanda (sp?). I picked up on plagiarism from Dr. Peter Levine and Caroline Myss in her videos. Testimonials about her child rearing fucked upness.

Part of my problem with her is that she reminds me of a woman who I use to be friends with but turned out to be narcissistic and spiritually abused me. Abusers like this use our own ego against us.

Her videos outright recommending suicide seal the deal for me. Also, her Tealers are crazed cult followers akin to Katy Cats.

I will leave it up to everyone to decide for themselves.

Factfinder2

Like I said, I agree with you that she's a hot mess and likely dangerous. Who knows whether it's due to abuse or plain old personality disorder? I reserve judgment but respect your take on it. Edit: My main problem with discounting her story is the doc's strange responses during the interview.

9809530?

Right on :) A lot of folks don't believe a person can have this type of personality disorder without having been abused. That just isn't the case for everyone.

Thanks for the dialog. Unless we visit her compound ourselves, it's all opinion, and I could be very wrong and merely triggered by my own traumatic associations.

Hope you have a blessed day!

I can't vouch for teal, but, there is an indian reservation in S Idaho known as the blackfoot res to northern utahns because of the city BLACKFOOT that is located there. Makes me wonder how much the rest of this post is twisted.

9809337?

Yeah, that part was new to me. No idea.

Piscina

I don't know what to think of her. She certainly gives a lot of detail--something that a liar can't do.

9809381?

On the contrary. Details are a liar's favorite weapon.

"If someone starts explaining why they were late by giving you an intricate, blow-by-blow rundown of what exactly held them up, be warned: that person is probably lying" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1316234/How-spot-liar-Their-story-far-detailed-true.html

Piscina

lol, then I'm obviously not good at detecting a liar.

9847131?

It's not your fault. Hardly anyone can. Research has consistently shown that people's ability to detect lies is no more accurate than chance, or flipping a coin. This finding holds across all types of people — students, psychologists, judges, job interviewers and law enforcement personnel (Personality and Social Psychology Review, 2006).

But we can improve....

Here's an informative article http://www.apa.org/monitor/2016/03/deception.aspx . I think we pg'ers can benefit from as we enter the world is suspicion of everyone. Minus paranoia. We need to know our limits and our strengths. Much love.

equineluvr

You've obviously never listened to George "Dirty Bomb Hoax" Webb.

9800807?

She strikes me as having been Histrionic Personality as a kid. The statements I read from brother and parents said something like she has quite the imagination and spools yarns endlessly. But she seems to have matured into total malignant narcissism with her fame and cult following.
