I have always felt that Patsy knew it was her husband and that is what killed her. The knowing and having to live day after day with the person responsible for the heinous SRA murder of her beautiful daughter. But really, did she not play a part? She dressed her up and that bracelet (but maybe that was a gift from her father and she did not know it's meaning) says so much, imo. I think it is also so very strange that he and the Mother of that missing Aruba girl had a relationship for some time. Really Strange.

Yes, living vicariously through your child by throwing her into those ridiculous beauty pageants is a form of child abuse.

If you listen to the first attending police woman's account, it is clear that Patsy was livid with her husband. Her grief was real; however, his was not. She suspected, and perhaps knew, but he continued playing the game with her. Or perhaps for some sick reason Patsy was protecting him. Families can be pretty dysfunctional.

Check out the attending police woman's interview (google it) when she talks about what happened when John went straight to the body and moved it, bringing JB into where parents and friends were gathered. He knew he was contaminating the scene.

What convinced me it was SRA was the woman from California--a very credible witness--who knew the father and his best friend. This woman gave evidence that she had been passed around as a child; that SRA took place during holidays so that bruises could disappear by the time school started; that the head was a favourite place to hit the child because the bruise couldn't be seen; how children would be asphyxiated until they nearly passed out. The groan they gave was similar to orgasm, and that's what the abusers' objective was.

The long-term sexual abuse is evidenced by the autopsy, which showed that the vagina showed 'chronic' damage.

Thanks/kinda if you know what I mean. I knew John was involved and the ransom note Patsy wrote had an angry tone at John (seemed so to me). And yes, totally contaminated the crime scene/knew police etc were involved in coverup but not to the detail you have provided/the groan, never heard of that/and holidays so bruises wouldn't show/I thought it might be some solstice thing

A neighbor said she heard the most blood curdling sound in the middle of the night/heard her scream. Naturally it was not followed up on.
