There's another thread speculating that an unsolved murder in CA might be the same guy who appeared as a live model in for a benefit for an Art Institute in the Hamptons. The benefit was attended by Mariana Abramovid and Lady Gaga.

I don't think they look alike and the timing makes no sense at, but beyond that I think I can definitely say, these are not the same too men.

This article says the dead man in CA was 6'4''. I don't know how tall the live model at the art event is, but he is not six four. Lady Gaga is like 5'1". Even accounting for heel and how the guy is standing, he's no where near 6'4".

So was did the guy in the desert have his organs harvested by some other folks.

Almost assuredly not. He dissappeared in July and was found in September, his body badly decomposed. So he was laying exposed in the desert for quite some time. The organ removal was most likely done by animals as he lay in the desert.

Here's a local report looking at this case, here they talk about the state of the body. This is not a case where you found an regular body with the organs surgical removed.
