What can we do when law enforcement won't help? I suppose we have to go guns a blazing into the underground tunnels and basements. But people are too comfortable and distracted with their day to day lives to do anything. I am guilty too. I have responsibilities at home, but there are nights when I think to myself in disgust, NOTHING should matter more than rescuing these children. Nothing! i think you're right, but actually, being a spiritual person, i was thinking what's going to be waiting for them in the afterlife ... and it ain't gonna be pretty! i don't believe in a God that punishes us, but that our own higher selves mete out the punishment. who better to do it than the part of ourselves that is closest to God. & think about how the crimes of these people will be dealt with by that! i think about this often, but i also pray for a solution in this realm too. it's certainly time.
