...Jurors convicted Kaplan on all 17 counts of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault and other offenses last month, a year after a neighbor's tip prompted authorities to search Kaplan's Feasterville home.

Prosecutors said Kaplan brainwashed the family, casting himself as a prophet, and created a world in which "child rape was the norm." Several girls testified that they considered him to be their husband, and their mother previously said that she knew about the sexual relationships but believed "it could be a good thing."

During Wednesday's hearings, one of the Stoltzfus girls read a statement asking the judge to show lenience in the sentencings of her parents, saying the family is suffering "needless" misery. Finley acknowledged the pain that he said would come with sending the parents to prison but said their crimes were inexcusable....

Pizzagate related because the adults, including the parents, promoted the idea that pedophiila is "a good thing" and child rape is a norm.

I know one woman who was given to her mother's drug dealer for a month in exchange for drugs. He of course sold her out to others during that time. I know another young woman whose mother traded her at 8 years old and beyond for groceries. It is happening everywhere all the time.

I wonder how old the oldest girl is and if she could take care of her sisters. Is she allowed to keep her baby he fathered? Are the other children going with relatives or CPS? So many unanswered important questions.

It says she is in her late teens, and that she had two babies with him! Yikes, she can't possibly care for two babies and all her sisters. There better be more relatives to take them in, I hope.
