Yes. One of George Webb's recent postings on YouTube describes a similar theory- that the pizza symbol represents all the criminal "ratlines", including child trafficking. He claims it stems from the early mafia gangs in the US, specifically referencing the partnership between Luciano and Lansky in the 1920s-40s:
