Why would you post something like this without taking two minutes to verify if it's real?

It's fake, unfortunately. I thought it might be real, too, for a sec. I posted a thread and quickly deleted it after reading additional tweets and seeing George Clooney in the same pic. Darn it, I wanted it to be real.

My thread said: "Today there are tweets like this one ( https://twitter.com/ShayC5/status/890621016732389376?s=03) ) showing a now-deleted tweet from Fox in DC ( @Fox5DC ). It was posted at 10:02 a.m. yesterday and claims that Alefantis was arrested for child porn. Mods, this is Pizzagate-related because, well . . . Alefantis. It seems like a legit story was posted and then removed by @Fox5CD . Has anyone heard anything about this? Thank you."
