I've connected with so many bands as a survivor. Slipknot, Tool, Etc. I recently relistened to Korn's first album, which I've always loved. If you can handle it, listen to "Daddy" again. The whole song. Survivors have been speaking out. We just aren't listening.

korns entire niche angle is child abuse. songs like daddy, kill you, mr rogers. the singer has claimed to be abused by multiple people as a child and ignored when talking about it to his parents, who also apparently abused him. this isn't secret or subtle. hence the album covers looking creepy af. Yeah, exactly what I thought when I saw it. I'm still in mourning as I quite liked Linkin Park tbh, so I watched some documentaries and stumbled across this shot. It reminded me of a post I saw on here the other day where there were photos of Chester and Podesta and it was speculated they might be related by blood and his death some kind of blood sacrifice or something, I don't quite remember. Had to register and post this. Maybe someone can add it to some info collection or something, or dig deeper.
