Kudos to this mother for suing Disney. She's got guts.

carmencita

Yes, but Disney has now said that the law does not apply. I just heard the tail end of the news story, so did not hear why. So now they just decide this does not apply to them. There is a law in place that they must follow, but it does not apply to them. Hmm.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act places restrictions on online sites directed at children under 13. It provides parents the means to halt developers and third-party advertisers from snooping on and profiting from their children.

It's not just Disney, Read the user agreement before you install apps. Generally speaking they ask for permission to use contacts, photos, location before it installs. This is why I have very few apps on my handy.

carmencita

I do not have any apps because I am really do not understand any of the tech stuff so I am afraid of installing the wrong thing. I also know that they are constantly working on tracking all of us, so NO, I don't want any of their "useful gadgets".

aileron_ron

I have a timer, Bank and amazon. Not much else on my old nexus 5.

birthdaysuit11

Owner of Amazon supports nambla. Amazpn also has a relation with the cia.

carmencita

Beware of supporting amazon. They are part of the problem. Otherwise you are pretty protected. We are too. We do have cell phones but no apps.

Children: the new prey.

This is getting outrageous. But at least The Cannibal Elites are getting so blatant that they're revealing themselves. Takes out the guesswork.

carmencita

I am hoping and wondering that maybe that some are waking up.

quantokitty

Lots of people are waking up.

I think before it was "conspiracy theorists" and "alarmists" that were predicting and speaking out about what was happening. But it was in the formulation and strategical stages. With Obama, a lot was implemented, and we're just now "seeing" the changes and horrific alterations to our society taking place. It includes our precious children being used for social experimentation and as prey.

Good people will not tolerate that. Will not.

carmencita

Will Not Is Right. I hear you. That is why I say, when those MOMS wake up. Watch Out. This one did and you can be assured she is spreading it. I am only afraid they may be able to get into the children's pictures on their Iphones and send them to pedo elites, etc. That is my greatest fear.

quantokitty

Let me just add that this all fits in with five-year-olds or younger deciding what sex they want to be. Kids are KIDS! They should not be having unsupervised contact with a lot of strangers! Would someone just bring their kid to the shopping mall and say, "Look! There's a nice crowd here today, so you go talk to everyone and I'll meet you back here in about two hours." NO! Because we wouldn't trust them to mingle with hundreds of people. So why is it all right online? Or on your phone? It isn't! Phones and internet should be able to be limited to communication with only selected people. Parents should have the right to screen if any one else is wanting access beyond the approved list. It's something kids and parents should discuss.

carmencita

I agree to all of that. Yes you are right, the whole world has access to the child if you just hand them the phone and do not police. Yes, parents think that certain sites are OK because they were trusted when they were kids. BUT things have changed dramatically.

quantokitty

And you have a valid right to be afraid. The apps have been designed for invasive contact with children. I'm not only speaking of these. Look how many posts we've had on this subject lately. It's ridiculous! No more trusting that Disney apps, or whatever other apps are safe. PARENTS: Do your job. Test the apps. Look over what your kid is doing and who they're having contact with.

carmencita

I am not really up on all that, but only what I read on here and I do know that there are some sites that have chat rooms for children and they then could be talking to sex abusers. We have had that info on here. I forgot the name of one but it was horrible what they were saying to the kids.

quantokitty

That's what I'm referring to. The BBC had a lot to say on the subject. Seven-year-olds were asked to remove their shirts. I mean, WTH?!!!

carmencita

YIKES! We must also tell our children not to do things just because an adult tells them. It is not just about not talking to strangers on the way to school.

quantokitty

Exactly. And think about it, some of these requests are coming in when the kids are in their own bedrooms. They're relaxed and completely vulnerable.

Things have gone too far, and they've been deliberately allowed to get this far.

carmencita

THIS is where we can make a difference. We must spread the word to friends and relatives and let people on social media sites in on this. There are MOM sites, I have hard of.

quantokitty

Yes. I remember this one submission I made ... there was someone involved with adoption agencies. Anyway, that's where this chick hung around .... mom sites where these mothers were OPENLY making arrangements to meet at the park! NO! Don't ever put the date and time you're going to be meeting up with someone! Just don't.

We need to wake hell up and fast!

carmencita

I am going to notify my friend that has grand children. Funny none of them live near her but she has contact of course. She will be livid. Hopefully her kids will not blow it off.

quantokitty

Excellent. Make sure to include as many links as you can. Red pill them. Good luck.

Technology is by nature a tool of control by the elites, who fund, design, and distribute it to their own advantage.

A child with an internet device (which emits harmful radiation) is a complete abomination and failure of parenting. Dont risk it

Germany’s telecommunications watchdog has ordered parents to destroy or disable a “smart doll” because the toy can be used to illegally spy on children.

The My Friend Cayla doll, which is manufactured by the US company Genesis Toys and distributed in Europe by Guildford-based Vivid Toy Group, allows children to access the internet via speech recognition software, and to control the toy via an app.

I saw this on the news and we have been discussing on here how Disney and others are trying to get info on our children in regards to tracking them. THIS is what it will take. MOMS Fighting Back.

AngB23

Disney is beyond disturbing. I'm sure they are tracking for other purposes too. Unfortunately, many parents don't even care or see the significance in this. Thanks for posting.

carmencita

I did not just find this on the internet I saw it on my local news. What that means is that small town news is covering this stuff. Moms will start paying attention. Anyone writing in blogs or on facebook must contact their relatives and friends. This is the only way we will be able to beat this. MOMS are a powerful force.
