I know it seems like this is very confined to those in stardom/power sometimes (physiologically speaking pedophilia is most commonly attributed to a sensation of power - similar to rape/physical abuse) but a truly scary thought for me is that it is a much more widespread issue than any person has been able to gauge. That being said it is a great thing this is coming to light across the Hollywood and political spectrum because maybe then we can get on with bringing the amount of victims down.

I wish there was a more optimistic chord to be struck when it comes to this stuff but beyond identification (and subsequent eradication) of some genetic component which breeds pedophilia I think all we can do is expose and take down as many "active" pedos (just meaning those that have taken any sort of steps to engage in any of that shit with children). There's no full proof method of just ending this all unless there is a genetic component to it (but then again that just opens up a whole new series of debates in terms of whether modification at birth to remove such a genetic predisposition at birth).

Look at Mark Burnett, the king of reality TV, a devout Christian. He was a disruptor of the ruling class and produced The Apprentice with the President.
